The scent, in full
Litchi and mandarin are too bright and happy for night, and too indulgent for a focused morning. They belong in that loose, unhurried window when work is done but the evening has not fully started yet.
You have just finished something, you are getting ready without rushing, maybe there is music on. This candle does not ask much of you. It just turns the hour golden.

Full policyCandle care
Light it right and it'll burn clean and even:
First Burn: Let the wax melt all the way to the edges, about 2–3 hours. This sets the candle's memory and prevents tunnelling.
Trim the wick to ¼ inch before every burn - long wicks cause smoke and uneven burning.
Don't burn more than 4 hours at a stretch; past that the wax overheats and the fragrance dulls.
Stop when ½ cm of wax is left to protect the jar.
When you're done, the jar's yours - scoop out the leftover wax (warm water helps), peel the label, reuse it.
Read the Burn RitualNotes
The scent opens in three parts.
Top notes
Litchi · Mandarin Orange · Sea Notes
Heart notes
Amber · Bergamot
Base notes
Musk · Wood
The top notes are the first impression. The heart is the body of the scent. The base is what stays longest.
When to light it
Best lit at golden hour, 4–7 PM.
The 4pm–7pm golden hour, when the day is winding down beautifully.
Why this hour
Atmosphere
What it changes in the room.
“Edges soften. The light leans gold. The evening arrives a little earlier — and stays a little longer.”
You have just finished something, you are getting ready without rushing, maybe there is music on. This candle does not ask much of you. It just turns the hour golden.
Cold throw · Hot throw
In the jar. In the room.
A candle has two scents — the one waiting in the jar, and the one that fills the room once it burns. Every Pavos batch is tested for both.

Cold throw
The first impression before the flame.
What you smell when the lid comes off — on the shelf, in your hands, before the flame. The opening notes, cool and unburned, hinting at where the candle will go once it's lit.

Hot throw
The scent once the wax begins to melt.
The full character of Golden Hour, carried across the room by a warm wax pool. As the wax melts, the scent opens to its complete depth and reaches well beyond the jar — and it holds from the first burn to the last, not just the first ten minutes.
Tested through the whole burn - so it's still there when the room actually needs it.
